After studying business administration, Mr. Mertens filled a responsible position in the technical wholesale trade, among other things as manager in a medium-sized business in Wuerzburg. Subsequently, he changed to big industry at Siemens AG in Munich where he took on international executive functions in sales. Mr. Mertens has been an executive search consultant and partner at MRINetwork since 1998.
Consultation is focused on the automotive industry, i.e., from manufacturer (OEM) to supplier, but his clients also include engineering businesses and management consultancies. Placements are in executive positions in the sectors R&D, production, logistics/supply chain management, finance/controlling and sales.
The experience Mr. Mertens has gained in both medium-sized and big industry, in combination with his own personal network gives him the necessary competence to find the best candidates available on the market in the shortest time. The quality of the processes and personal support are of the utmost priority.
